Prof Dr.Med Philip Heneke, holds the esteemed position of being a professor of clinical infection immunology and pediatrics.He currently serves as the Director of the institute for infection prevention and hospital hygiene at the University clinic in Freiburg,Germany. His primary area of research revolves around understanding the intricacies of macrophage development and micro environment programming and the impact of these dynamic events of mucosal control of bacteria and infection pathogenesis. In addition to his theoretical work, professor Heneke has also made notable contributions through the development and implementation of clinical studies utilizing in vitro models of infectious disease.
Dr Anne Plantadosi, earned an MD,phd from the university of Washington in 2011 studying Hiv-super infection and within host evolution. She then competed physical training in internal medicine and infectious disease at Massachusetts General hospital. As a postdoctoral researcher in the laboratory of Dr Pardis Sabeti at the broad institute, Dr Plantadosi led a multidisciplinary translational research project to evaluate viral causes of encephalitis using metagenomic sequencing . In the fall of 2019, Dr Plantadosi began as an Assistant Professor in the department of pathology at Emory, with a joint appointment in the department of Medicine, Division of infectious Disease, where she continues to be a practicing physician and a researcher
Prof.Med Axel Kroeger, scientific Advisor at the centre for Medicine and Society, Freiburg University, Germany, also working with WHO Geneva. He has a long term experience in Health Systems Research, Control of Communicable Diseases and Tropical Epidemiology.His current work is on cost effective vector control of arbovirus diseases and the forecasting of outbreaks of climate sensitive diseases within a WHO program
